Flow Fashion Caribbean 2017 didn’t come to play any games.

What’s interesting about this production, now in its 11th year, staged by Vincentian Image Modelling Agency (now in its 20th year!), is that it is, quite possibly, the best, most well-oiled, fashion show machine this side of the Caribbean. As evidenced by its tenure, Image continues to turn out a gaggle of talented models. And on March 25th, they all stomped, strutted and sashayed their way down a 100-ft runway, bearing goodies from Vincentian designers, like Peta Odini, Kimmystic Clo, Poshelle, and SoKa (to name a few), as well as Mr. Henre Designs, Trefle, and The Cloth, from across the region.

Here are the 10 Womenswear Looks we Love, from this year’s show.

Peta Odini

Peta Odini

Okay now! I didn’t think my eyes could open any wider, when Peta Odini sent this sequined sweater dress down the runway. This is a situation my body is ready to be in. I am here for the scrunched sleeves, mesh and embellishment overdose. It’s extra, and I love it.

Kimya Glasgow

Kimya Glasgow

Kimya Glasgow knows: any excuse to wear a gown, should be taken – especially if it’s made in extra-light, eyelet cotton, and fits honey. Keep it casual with a little longer-than-necessary train. That’s all.

Reine du Chic

Reine du Chic

If I see one. More. Bardot dress! I’m wearing it. How can you even say ‘no’ to this neoprene moment, from Reine du Chic?

ENVE by Rachel Bailey

ENVE by Rachel Bailey

Sure, we’re used to seeing tropical prints. Sure. But with the high-neck, racerback, and La Diablesse hat, did you die? Love this, from ENVE by Rachel Bailey!

Ngozi

Ngozi

I don’t know if it’s the voluminous sleeves, the square neckline, or her attitude (or all three!), but yes, Ngozi. Yes.

Come on Fresh Face designer, Virtuous Designs! Give me AWL the trains!

SoKa

SoKa

My obsession with denim is well-documented. So, SoKa threw in some ruffles, a dangerously high slit, and… well… need I say more?

Poshelle

Poshelle

I love how this look, by Poshelle, draws on my ambivert personality: I didn’t really want to come out, but since I have to leave my bed to be here… let me give you all the things!

The Cloth

The Cloth

Robert Young‘s infamous runway presentations for The Cloth have seen him performing a rain dance (which was followed swiftly by actual rain, so… yeah), having models pelt sand at the front row (we’re maybe exaggerating here – maybe), and even wanting a yam to walk down the runway. You read that right. A yam. But when you look at this ‘fit, it all makes sense. It’s all worth it. Robert can do no wrong in my book.

Mr. Henre Designs

Mr. Henre Designs

I mean… how to not love this look from Mr. Henre? Mama is giving us Fifth Element meets Matrix’s Persephone (Mrs. Merovingian) GOODNESS. That neckpiece though? Yes, please!
